If I had to pick one, I’d pick the first pic. I like the “minimalist” feel compared to the other two. Although, I think the shadows are a little too harsh, so I can’t quite see the sprinkles’ shape as clearly (even if I know it’s round). I think it makes the picture look strong and bold, whereas I prefer a softness to them.

@cheahwey – Thanks cheahwey :) I’ve added another shot (right on top), still like the 2nd pic more?

  3. cheahwey says:

Ah, now I’m partial to the first pic :p
I like how there’s one sprinkle that’s away from the pack, like a rebel. Or something.

@cheahwey – yay. I ended up submitting the first one to the Canon EOS Photo5 competition cos I didn’t know which one to choose. It’s the idea of being the special one amongst the others. You should check out the other submissions, photographers can be really creative! http://www1.canon.com.au/worldofeos/Photo5/the-entries/Default.aspx

I really like the second one, with all the items spread out, and the long shadows. It has a feel like an interesting pattern on a fabric.

(I just am visiting after seeing your DPS self-portrait shot)
