“Crawley Edge” Boatshed

"Crawley Edge" Boatshed

I went to the “Crawley Edge” Boatshed for a photoshoot for my friend a couple of weeks back. Took this shot which I’d like to share here:

Pardon the lack of update, I’ve been down with cough, flu and a little fever. Have a great weekend!

Hullo. Just thought I’d drop by. Have you finished uni yet?

Anyway, you take lovely lovely pics! I was wondering, which plugin do you use to display your photos like that? It works quite well!

Hi Charmaine, I’m in my last sem at the moment, doing Journalism in Society and Campaign Management (PR) as my last core units. Really hoping to get into print with the papers when I graduate in March, but things don’t look too good with my current portfolio.

Thanks for the compliment, I’m using Shutter Reloaded plugin. There are alternative, but this one suits my need :) Thanks for dropping by!

Ah thanks! I’ll go check that out.

And ooo, in campaign managment, are you still doing the conference this year?

Good luck with getting into print! Your portfolio should be fine. Mine is also pretty thin. =( Anyway, try freelancing until you’ve got a shoe in, or get work experience at the end of the year. Btw, what papers are you going to apply for? The West’s cadetship program opens in August every year, so you can give that a try too.

@Char – Np :) Yes we’re still doing the conference this year! Our group is currently so behind, that’s why the blog has been abandoned.

Thanks for that.. I’ve never really thought about which papers to apply for? =/ Would definitely try the West’s cadetship as you mentioned, but that’s like a whole year to go. So I might just try whatever that I can get my hands into, probably starting with some work experience.

Well, good luck with the cadetship for you too! It’s not easy to do things we want to do, but I’m sure you’re doing just fine as I read from your site :)
