I am a swine flu survivor.
For the past week I have been taking Tamiflu tablets twice a day, prescribed by the health department for swine influenza patients. Personally, I think swine flu is a little overrated sensationalised by the media at the moment.
This is especially true when the death of the first Australian with swine flu was reported earlier today. For Pete’s sake he already had medical problems so he probably died due to his other illness in the first place. There is certainly no need to highlight the fact that he is the first person in Australia to die with the flu.
Yes, it was a harsh one week couple of nights alright. I was really ill – fever, chills, aching body, migraine, loss of appetite, cough (still going but don’t worry you wont get the virus), but thankfully I wasn’t vomiting for that 3 days or so. After that, with regular consumption of the tablets given by the health department, I was on the road to recovery in no time.
I certainly do not believe the virus has the ability to kill me, but of course if the symptoms were ignored and if I had chosen to sleep it off, it would’ve been much more serious than this.
So, if you’re having any of the symptoms that I had experienced, please do yourself and your loved ones a favour – contact your local GP immediately. The virus is not that bad-ass at all IF you have it prevented in the first place.
And yes I got paid for my days off work. *grin*

I hope you do realize you’ve fallen into a real trap.
Nothing I say might convince you now because your mind is probably still trapped in the false reality that this world gave you.
I suggest you stop taking that drug, which might cause you more harm than help.
You my friend, could be a statistic for population reduction.
I pray that those drugs would not cripple you (slow side effect long term) with cancer, or anything that will shorten your life span, part of the depopulation plan of global elites.
@tsktsk – Wow, what an encouraging first commenter. Thanks for that. Let’s make some things clear:
1) I am not your friend.
2) I have stopped taking the drug aeons ago, long before you were born.
3) Thanks for your prayers but you should really keep your prayers to yourself.
Glad you are fine now.
How did it happened lah???
try searching for TAMIFLU side effect on the internet. tsktsk wasn’t far off with his comment.

@terence – Thanks, Terence. I like your gravatar
I had it coming, L caught the virus first :/
@openmind – I was well aware of the (potential) side effects from the tablets. Of course, I willingly consumed it. Sorry, I didn’t die.
Maybe you should worry about other things, such as sitting on the computer and talking on your mobile phone. I heard they give you side effects too.
Good to hear you’re okay!
Oh my GOD you are all freaks!!
@Rasha – Why, thank you!
Thank God u survived it, yet I was only told that it is quarantine only!
@doreen – Don’t worry, it’s not that bad if detected early, I already have the tablets when the symptoms appeared so it was all under control
There are not too many post of swine flu survivors around. I think it is important that you posted your personal experience online. I am 34, MD and survived too. I never been this sick in my life. I presented a complication with dysphagia (unable to swallow food and liquids) due to severe pharyngitis and laryngitis and had to be hospitalized for IV steroids for a couple of days. I encourage people to check the CDC website. This virus should not be underestimated, even healthy people like me and you can develop complications sometimes.
Final words, If you suspect you are getting it take Tamiflu as soon as possible, the early the better.
Cheers.

H1N1 or Swine Flu is a bit scary but it a good thing to note that this virus is not that very deadly. .
