Perth Daylight Saving will start again this year on Sunday, 26 October 2008 effective from 0200. That is, 20 days from the time this entry is written. This means that Perth time will be +9 GMT instead of the current +8 GMT.
So before you sleep, forward your clocks an hour ahead so you won’t be late for work/school the next day.
This is an mandatory update for Googlers who have been searching for DST for Perth in 2008 and landed on my entry last year. Have a good day.

when my vote is called for I will vote that it should be dumped,my reasons are that kids can play outside in the daylight while most people have settled down for the night and at the moment cant for noisy kids

@alister penman – yeah, damn kids playing outside. They should stay inside turning into vegetables infront of the television. It’s a crime I tell you. And it fades the curtains.
