Today is officially a week away from my 20th birthday. With my detective skills, I have managed to uncover one of my birthday presents from L, which is a large green toy frog with long legs which I will unfortunately have to sleep with for the rest of my life.

L caught the dragonfly at my backyard. Shot taken with Nikon D60 with 18-55mm ED lens and SB600. The insurance company got the wrong non-VR lenses, so I’m using them temporarily until I send them back for a swap.
Six hours until my assignment is due, 1300 words to go.

Two good news.
I have just requested an extension for an assignment with the reason that I am doing a crap job at it. I sure hope it will be granted. If not, I’m screwed because it’s due in 30 minutes time.

There were a couple of youths showing their BMX and skateboarding skills at the halfpipe in Perth Royal Show this year, and I managed to capture a few shots from there.

Pretty decent shots coming out from a compact, really.
I have a strong feeling about receiving my camera within these couple of days
I’m starting to miss my camera. Can’t wait to get it back, hopefully early next week.
For now, I shall just focus on my assignments.
