ChanRaymond dot net is currently running on WordPress 2.6. Upgraded today using the automatic upgrade plugin and there wasn’t any hassle at all. Remember I had a problem with TinyMCE? I was hoping that by this upgrade to 2.6, I’ll be able to fix the problem. However, it turned out that the problem was at the permissions in cPanel, so I managed to fixed it myself today.
Here’s a screenshot:
Today is my day off from work, so excuse me while I spend the rest of my day with L, resting. I’m feeling a little under the weather today – flames in my throat, sorethroat, headache. And it’s been raining all day long too. By the way, WordPress 2.6 is pretty awesome!

I am having the same problem with the editor. I notice the visual start not to work after I sign on to admin on two sessions at the same time. What is cPanel..and how do I change its permission? Thanks, Phil.

Hi Phil,
To be honest, I’m not too sure of how to change the permissions to the correct ones. All I did was to log into my cPanel and changed a few of the permissions in the file manager. To do this properly without messing up your security, I’d suggest you talk to your support team of your website or webhost. Personally, cPanel is sorta like the “heart” of your website. You mess up the “heart” you mess up the whole site. Good luck
Hi Raymond,
Thanks for your response. I called my host provider and she suggested that I re-install WP. I really really hate that response. SIGH! Anyway, I figure it out. It’s quite simple actually. Apparently what happen was I signed on as admin with my laptop to do some posting yesterday and choose the option “remember me” and I never log off. This morning when I tried to post with my desktop and the visual editor failed. When I came in to work, my visual editor works normally on my laptop. I have not proven that by signing off I’ll be able to sign on to a different machine and the visual editor will work. I’ll know tonight. But my hunch is that it’ll work just fine. Yah!!!
Anyway, I finally get to post the latest and greatest G1 phone on my website. I am very happy at the moment. Please come by my website and check it out!! $449.99!!!! Free shipping…and no tax. I need to go home now. ByeBye
Phils last blog post..T-Mobile G1 Touch Phone for $449.99
@Phil – Hello again,
You’re welcome. Sorry to hear about that. I’m sure there’s an easier alternative, but too bad for you. I know exactly how it feels when the visual editor breaks down on you. It makes it so difficult to even write a proper entry. Well, good luck, nevertheless!
Thanks for the G1 info! I’m at Australia and it’ll take a while more before I get another phone upgrade, so too bad for me. All the best!
