After testing all the Firefox 3 Release Candidates, Mozilla has finally announced the release date for the much anticipated Firefox 3. Here’s what they say:

After more than 34 months of active development, and with the contributions of thousands, we’re proud to announce that we’re ready. It is our expectation to ship Firefox 3 this upcoming Tuesday, June 17th. Put on your party hats and get ready to download Firefox 3 — the best web browser, period.

    what’s the difference with the current firefox?? if u want to reply, either put it in your next post or email me cos i probably wouldn’t come back here to check the reply, i read your blog through google reader. hehe. :P or leave a comment on my blog.

      @ehon -
      Don’t care, reply you here as well even though I’m going to write an entry soon =P Next time click on subscribe to comment before you comment, then you’ll be able to receive emails on your comments.
      Differences:
      1) Auto Complete URL has been revamped. Really great stuff this one.
      2) Zooming in is heaps better than FF2.
      3) Password manager is not cluttering your view in FF3.
      4) Ability to resume and pause downloads.
      5) Resize location bars.
      6) New “star” bookmark (easier).
      7) Use ctrl and select multiple text from different parts of a page. 8) Ability to save sessions.
      9) Smart bookmarks (most visited, recently bookmarked)
      10) Less memory usage.
