One thousand wedding photos to edit before Saturday (actually slightly more than that).

Two thousand five hundred words to write before Monday.

Three dollars left in total. I need a job. Badly.
Sorry for not replying your comments, guys. I’ve been really tired and lazy of late, totally screwing up my sleeping habit and have also been job-hunting during the day. I’ve got heaps of photos to share, but just haven’t got the time. In two weeks’ time, I will be free from the clutches of evil uni life. But that also means that these two weeks are crucial to me, hence the lack of updates.
Here’s my reply to a few comments:
Welcome to my blog, Feng. I like the way you blog too, found your blog through VerveEarth a couple of months back.
Would love to try your D3, terence. I think I would have been “poisoned”, for sure. Would also try getting some rechargeables instead of alkalines too, have over 50 alkalines lying around my room as I type this. But what I need more than anything right now is an external hard drive. My 60GB laptop has only less than 1GB left. And I find that I can take better photos at night, as I find that better shots can be composed at my own pace (the night is always still young, they say). I still struggle with portrait.
Thanks ehon for the tips, although I don’t think I’ll have any weddings to shoot in the near future. I didn’t know about the don’t-use-flash-too-much before, and I should try to watch out on my flash techniques. My white balance technique is probably the worst. Maybe I’m not that creative or I’m simply too boring/old-fashioned, but I tend to judge the photos with my eyes for the ‘right’ colours. More photography mags will do the trick, I guess.
Thanks guys for the great input. Appreciate it =)

oh please. don’t say u’re too boring!!
yeah, too much flash is bad. i’ll tell u why next time. show u an example. i was also boring wat. hey, a medical science student ler. can i get any more geekier and not creative? my first wedding shots were like crap – white balance all off and everything was just shit! i just slowly learn. i think the most important is to have a master who can teach u well. i’m lucky i got alvin leong. and then just keep playing around.
Yay!!! He is alive. Raymond is actually still alive. Bwahahaha!!!
You’re too lucky to have such a great teacher, ehon =)
terence, who says I’m dead? =P
I hope you got your job soon. Take care
keeyit, Thanks =)
Your photography skills are impressive.
By the way, I was surprised to learn you’re in the exact situation like me hehe!
I’ll be done in about 1 month and I’m like you, hunting that elusive, desirable graduate position!
It’s depressing, our lives are going to dramatically change as we move from a student to a professional huh… No more days of procrastinating and surfing the net. No more sleeping in and the freedom to do things during periods others cannot…
I hope you’re looking forward to that progression. Moreso, I bid you every luck in your success my friend. Keep at it huh
If you’re interested, come and add me on MSN. My email’s on my blog
Ciao

Hi Feng, thanks for the comment. Actually, I am still in my 2nd year. The “job” I was and still is looking for is just a part-time job that I need to pay off bills and petrol. I find it so difficult to find a proper part-time job, what more a stable, full-time job after graduating.
As for me, I have another 1.5 years to go. Whether or not I will be turning out as a professional still depends on whether a journalist is referred to as a professional in the first place. To say that I am looking forward to that “professional” life, I would say I’m uncertain.
But to move out and start my own career and have a total life of my own and loved one, yes, I would love just that.
I shall hunt your email address down another time. Good luck with that job-hunt of yours and this last one month =)
