Happy Lunar New Year

ChanRaymond dot net wishes one and all a Very Happy Lunar New Year =) May this year of the Rat bring you all prosperity and wealth and most of all, good health.
While I am here busying myself with work and play before the new semester starts (19th Feb), I hope everyone else is having a good time celebrating this festive season.
This year, there wasn’t any reunion dinner on New Year’s Eve because my brother had forgotten that it was Chinese New Year. His girlfriend and himself ate and left the leftover on the kitchen table while I took my nap. On breakfast the following day, he wished me Happy New Year and after work, we had lunch together, including L.
L and myself went to Northbridge to see some Lion dancing later in the night. It was a simple outing but a memorable one =)
After 19 years, I had finally learned the fact that Lunar New Year is not celebrated by the Chinese, but also by others, including Vietnamese, Koreans, Mongolians and people who base their calendar on the Lunar calendar.
Nevertheless, Happy New Year once again =)
