Mr. Brooks Review
January 31, 2008 | Filed Under Movies
I can’t seem to sleep yet. Not knowing what to do earlier tonight, I joined my brother and his girlfriend to watch Mr. Brooks in the theatre room.

I don’t usually watch movies with them, so it shows how desperate I was to watch this movie. It was partly because I remembered that Mr. Brooks was the movie that michaelooi gave 10/10.. and I can say he’s not wrong on this, because this is one heck of a bloody good psychological thriller.
Not a lot of movie could make you feel as though you are the main character in the movie, but this one managed to do just that, and you don’t really want to be Mr. Brooks, who is a serial killer.
I was almost wishing that it would last much longer although the movie did last for 120 minutes. This is one crazy movie that has its own unique twists and turns, keeping you sit on your seat still, and I love it. Read more reviews at IMDB.
Finding someone you think would be fun to kill is a bit like, well it’s a bit like falling in love. You meet a lot of candidates, and you like some of them, and they’re nice. But they’re not right. And that special one comes along, and your heart beats faster, and you know that’s the one. (Mr. Earl Brooks)
Definitely for Matured Audiences only due to its strong violence, nudity and language. Although it’s not really my genre of movies, it didn’t fail to fascinate me from the beginning to the end. I’d give it a solid 8.5/10.
Yes, I’m fine enough to watch a movie and even blog about it now. And I’m still taking another day off work. Sue me.
