Craig David - Trust Me Album

The speed of my connection has kind of put me off blogging for a while, but since I’m already here, I might as well do a little update.
3 days ago, Craig David, a UK R&B singer, released his latest album, Trust Me. I remember buying his first and second album, Born To Do It and Slicker Than Your Average, on cassette tape. You know what it is, right? There, those rectangular shaped thingy with those black tapes which you put inside your hi-fi stereo or your car cassette player. I would then play and replay again and again and sing along to the songs. Ah, how nostalgic. And that was year 2000 and 2002 respectively.
Following the advances of technology, I did not buy his 3rd album in 2005, The Story Goes…, although I thought it was much better than Slicker Than Your Average. I *coughs*downloaded*coughs* it.
I don’t know why I’m so into his songs. Craig David’s songs mostly describe himself as a casanova, a player (mostly in 1st album). I’m definitely not one, but I can somehow relate to his songs. His vocals are simply superb, smooth and delicate. His newer album portrays himself as less of a player, but focussed more on love.
Even the famous singer/songwriter Elton John once said “If there is a better singer in England than Craig David, then I am Margaret Thatcher.”
After listening to his latest album for about 36 times (and counting in my iTunes), I must say Trust Me is one of his better albums after Born To Do It.

My Back + Photos

My lower back hurts. It’s been a couple of days now, and it’s not good at all. I can’t strain too much in badminton, and the heat at night makes me even more tired easily. What should I do?
Today, I had intended to upload some of the pictures of my final portfolio, with its theme “City After Dark”, but I was too free tonight, so I decided to edit some old pictures and post them up instead.

Is it Just Me or What?

I noticed that many have slowed down on their postings in their blog(s). Updates are so much slower now. I’m not complaining, really. I barely have time to read others’ entries, more to say drop a comment. But hey, I still make sure I catch up on my readings, okay?
Out of all the 65 blogs that I had subscribed to in Google Reader, only about 20 update daily. Ashamed to say this, but I only comment on less than 10 blogs. Sometimes it’s better to keep your mouth shut and just read what others have to say. Maybe that explains the lack of comments in my blog too. You guys are getting back at me, no? It’s okay, I still love you 
Then again, I haven’t been blogging a lot lately. My updates are in a sporadic manner. What have been slowing me down? I don’t know. What’s slowing you down? Work? Studies? Exams? Family?
My Internet has been shaped to 64k at peak hours (8am-midnight), been downloading too much Prison Break. So photo uploading is a pain now. Picture update after midnight =)

My er.. 4th podcast I think?
Thanks for the feedback from my previous posts. I’ve been getting long long essays as comment, which I totally love. Haha.
Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten back to any of your comments, but I’ll get back to you guys when I’m up to it alright? I’m not feeling very well today, the sudden change of weather is probably the cause.
Anyway, the podcast was recorded at 4pm, but I’ve only managed to upload it now. Hope you guys will enjoy it. The song today is again by Jason Mraz, entitled Wordplay. Love it to bits, so do enjoy it =)

How in the world am I, a frequent, habitual “swearer” who swears and cusses almost everyday stop swearing COMPLETELY?

I’m just taking a short break from my assignments, a report down, two more 12-week journals to finish up. I’m so not going to sleep =(
In my previous podcast, Hwey suggested that I do a request thingy. No, not song requests, please. I don’t have any license from any of the record companies. Oops. One day, when my podcasts are removed without notice, you guys’ll know why =P
Anyway, Hwey was suggesting that I take in requests from you guys. She thinks she can make me “giggle like a little girl”, which I think I’m up for. The next one’s for you, Hwey. Besides, I have no idea what I should be saying half the time.
You guys can request anything at all. Ask me to talk about anything, to say anything. As long as I think it’s do-able, I’ll do it =)
