Do You Remember..

..the time when Friendster testimonial was a place where you write a long, thousand-character paragraphs of praises and sweet, nice things to your mates? Where you would crack your head open so that you can write better than the previous person who testified on your profile?

The evolution of these testimonials caught me by surprise. Now they are calling it comments and testimonials. Everyone has a comment, so maybe that’s why they integrated comments and testimonials, thinking that people would write more “testimonials” to
their mates.
Now all I get is a one-liner or a couple of weird “comments” in my comment-box in Friendster. Things like, “hello how are you” is not uncommon anymore. Not that I’m not one of them anyway, because I do write these one-liners to my mates.
But don’t get me started on those copy & paste gibberish.
I miss those 1000-character comments where people describes you from head to toe, where your mate tells the world how great a friend you are. So if you’re the writing type, come write in mine HERE (link removed) :P
