Rough Times

I had a really rough day.
It’s times like these when you wish there is someone who can be there for you by your side to cheer you and make you feel better.
At least attempt to.
A friend of mine left me a bible verse before we stopped chatting:
1 Corinthians 10:13 says,
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

You’re not alone. I’m in a gamble as well. I have 5 journal articles to read! The problem is not so much about reading but all the terms. Neuroscience sucks. So, if I don’t finish reading + writing tonight, it means no sleep. And I’ll be so f-cked tomorrow.

Sometimes, when the days get rough, I hide inside my shell and disconnect from the whole world. I can’t teach you how I do this trick, but all I can say is, no matter how dark the clouds are, look for that darn silver lining.
